The Teacher of The Year 2021 and The Researcher of the Year 2021 in our University are both Philosophers!
Today was the final day of the Students' Awards, „Laury studenckie UPJPII”. Our professors received awards in two categories- The Teacher of The Year and The Researcher of the Year in our University were recognized as philosophers from the Faculty of Philosophy, two mighty intellectuals who work very hard to ensure best quality of our research and education
The Teacher of The Year award was given to Professor Joanna Mysona Byrska. This award is given to a teacher who masters the skill of sharing knowledge and interesting students in the pursuit of knowledge. Professor Byrska said „My task is to show students that it is worth trying hard, and ultimately we both have are pleased with the results,” while receiving the award
The The Researcher of The Year Award was given to Sister Professor Tereza Obolevich. This award is to a researcher who has made great achievements and pushes students to do their own research. It was emphasized that achievements of Sister Professor are important contributions to philosophy which are globally recognized. Sister Professor's researches are also a space of dialogue between the East and West, allowing different religious traditions to communicate openly.
