Prof. dr. hab. Tereza Obolevich
Chair of Russian and Byzantine Philosophy

Born in 1974, S. Tereza defended her MA thesis at the Theological Institute in Tarnów, affiliated with the Pontifical Academy of Theology in Kraków, in 2002. In 2005, she obtained her doctorate in philosophy at the Faculty of Philosophy of the Polish Academy of Sciences, where she has been working since 2006. In 2012, S. Tereza received her habilitation, and in 2018, the academic title of professor of humanities. S. Tereza is the:
- Head of the Department of Russian and Byzantine Philosophy;
- Member of the Copernicus Center for Interdisciplinary Research in Krakow,
- An associate member of the Institute of Philosophy of the Russian Academy of Sciences (since 2018),
- A member of the Philosophy of Sciences Commission of the Polish Academy of Arts and Sciences (since 2019)
- Part of the Committee on Philosophical Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences (from 2016-2019 and currently the 2020-2023 term).
