Recruitment fee

The candidate is obliged to pay the recruitment fee to an individual bank account, the number of which is generated by the system after successful electronic recruitment. The candidate should pay the recruitment fee within the time limit specified in the recruitment schedule. If the recruitment fee is not posted on the last day of electronic recruitment, the candidate is required to provide proof of payment by email to the office of the faculty. The amount and terms of collecting the recruitment fee will be determined by the Rector (by Rector’s order). Further information will be posted soon.

Fee for Studies "Philosophy in English"

Studies conducted in foreign languages must be paid for with a tuition fee at the Pontifical University of John Paul II in Krakow. A semester of studies at the program “Philosophy in English” costs PLN 4300 (ca. EUR 1000).

Fee for Studies in Polish

On the basis of §4 para. 3 of Senate Resolutions No. 74/2019 (as amended), "Foreigners Taking Up Studies with a Tuition Fee".

Foreigners who are entitled to take up studies without payment (this applies only to studies conducted in Polish):

1) take up full-time studies and meet one of the following conditions:

- have a valid “Karta Polaka” (Polish Card, Polish Charter)
- have a government-issued decision establishing Polish origin,
- have a permanent residence permit (settlement) in Poland,
- have received a long-term resident's European Union residence permit in Poland,
- have refugee status granted in Poland,
- enjoy temporary protection on Polish territory,
- have subsidiary protection granted on the territory of Poland,
- received a temporary residence permit on the territory of Poland in connection with the circumstances referred to in art. 159 paragraph 1 or art. 186 section 1 point 3 or 4 of the Act of 12 December 2013 on foreigners (Journal of Laws of 2018, item 2094),
- are citizens of a Member State of the European Union, the Swiss Confederation, or a Member State of the European Free Trade Agreement (EFTA) - parties to the agreement on the European Economic Area, or are a family member of such a person living on the territory of Poland,
- have a certificate confirming the knowledge of Polish as a foreign language, as referred to in art. 11a paragraph 2 of the Act of 7 October 1999 "On the Polish Language" (Journal of Laws of 2018, item 931), at a language proficiency level of at least C1. The only authorization document is the certificate issued by the State Commission for the Certification of Proficiency in Polish as a Foreign Language,
- are a spouse, ascendant or descendant of a Polish citizen living in Poland.

2) take up full-time studies and are persons directed to study by a decision of the minister or the director of NAWA, provided that the decision indicates information on exemption from all (or part) of fees for educational services.
