Dr. Jakub Synowiec, Ph.D. is the Vice dean and Head of Studies of the Faculty of Philosophy. He is the coordinator for studies in English at the Faculty - you might know him from email correspondence regarding our studies! He is also the Vice Director of the Executive Board of the International Center for the Study of Phenomenon of Solidarność.

Research interests: Ethics, Applied Ethics, Metaethics, Ethical argumentation, Ethics of Peter Singer, Animal Ethics, Effective Altruism, Personalism, Utilitarianism, Dialogue between secular philosophy and Christian Ethics.
