Philosophical Trends and Disciplines, Philosophy and Worldviews, Ethical Thought from Antiquity to the Era of Enlightenment, Contemporary Debates in Philosophy of Religion, Intellectual Property, the Health and Security course, Library Research, Rhetoric and the Art of Argumentation, Modern and Contemporary Ethical Thought , Philosophy of Karol Wojtyła, Contemporary Debates in Social and Political Philosophy, Teaching Philosophy, Business Ethics and CSR, Russian Religious Philosophy, Contemporary Debates in Philosophy of Science, Philosophical Issues in Science, Contemporary Debates in Anthropology and Ethics.

Mandatory courses are offered in the form of lectures, seminars, and workshops. In some cases, a course may be composed of a combined form of these options.


Electives:

The Academic Seminar is held every week during the course of studies. It assists our students in writing their Master's thesis and prepares them for further academic activities.


Monographic Lectures

During each semester of the academic year, two monographic lectures are offered by our faculty members. New lectures are given every year and are announced before the beginning of the new term. Monographic lectures reflect the current research that is being conducted by members of the faculty and are meant to deepen the philosophical knowledge of our students.

Aside from participating in the lectures, our students have the opportunity to conduct independent research . They are able to consult with a supervisor who is an expert in their chosen field of research. We take the quality of your research and self-development seriously and are committed to supporting your work.

Workload

Students are expected to gain 120 ECTS points throughout the course of their studies. One ECTS point is equal to 25-30 hours of work (inside the class and individual work; 1 hour = 45 minutes). The accumulated amount of time spent in classes during the week is always about 20 hours (1st. Semester: 18 hours / week; 2nd.semester: 20 hours / week; 3rd. 22 hours / week; 4th semester: 12 hours / week ). Most of the classes are conducted in the late afternoon and evening. All of our classes can be joined remotely.
