For Erasmus students
The most popular exchange program in our University is Erasmus+. Every year many students from different countries take part in an exchange program at our Faculty. If your university is not on our list of institutional partners, don’t worry, we will try to establish an agreement to enable you to join us. During your stay, receive support from our Erasmus+ team, which helps international students settle into our university, city and country. During various events, foreign students have a chance to familiarize themselves with Polish culture and history. Incoming international students are contacted by Buddies (students volunteers) before their arrival in Krakow and offered assistance throughout the semester. The cultural program for international students includes such events as Orientation Days, Routes of John Paul II, Polish Christmas etc.

Classes Availability
Faculty of Philosophy plans two programmes of studies entirely in English: BA in Philosophy and MA in Philosophy and offers one lecture in English on 3rd year of Psychology.
Programs of studies in Philosophy:
MA Philosophy, Ethics and Religion in English
A subject taught on Psychology: Philosophical Threads in Psychology – description in our system. Once you enter the USOS system, you can use browser to find descriptions of courses you are interested in.
Please note, that classes availability depends on whether a particular programme of studies has been started in a given year.
In 2022/23 we opened first year of Philosophy, Ethics and Religion, and that means classes for the second year of this course will be available in 2023/24.
For the academic year 2023/24 we are recruiting for both BA in Philosophy and MA in Philosophy, so we plan that classes for 1st year of BA and MA in Philosophy will be available. If we are not successful in recruitment, our offer will be reduced but we will find a way for you. The classes for 2nd and 3rd year of BA studies will not be available in 2023/24.
If You want to experience Philosophy at the Pontifical University of John Paul II but have not decided to come as Erasmus student, please be aware that some of the courses we offer are available on-line. We are open for the students who would like to join (on-line or in person) particular courses, participate, obtain learning outcomes, take exam, get grade and acquire credits. Please check with your University what you should do for our course to be recognized as a part of your studies. To start with, please consider joining our open lectures on-line.
