In 2021, dr. hab. Joanna Mysona Byrskae received the ,,Teacher of the Year" award

Dr. hab. Mysona Byrska is the Head of the Department of Social Philosophy and Politics, Faculty of Philosophy of UPJPII in Krakow. She is a scholarship holde withr: GFPS, KAAD (Albert-Ludwig University in Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany), and SAIA (Constantine Philosopher University in Nitra, Slovakia).  Her research interests include: social philosophy and politics, applied ethics, consumerism, and post-democracy. She is the author of over 100 publications, including:

• Democratic rule of law in the thought of Ernst-Wolfgang Böckenförde (2005),
• Ethical aspects of democracy (2012), Lectures on general ethics (2015),
• On politics of politics and anti-politics (2018).
