Financial Issues
The tuition fee for students commencing studies in English in our university from October 2024 is 5600 PLN (c.a. 1300 Euro) per semester. There are also some small administration costs that must be covered by students, such as the fees for the recruitment procedure (85 PLN) or the student ID card.
Scholarships
The Philosophy in English faculty staff understands the financial challenges facing many students. This page will be updated as we continue to add scholarship opportunities to it. Although the Pontifical University does not offer scholarships to international students, there are other possibilities! This list is not complete; please check back in the future for more information.

The Visegrad Fund Scholarship
This scholarship is available to citizens of Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Czech Republic, Georgia, Hungary, Kosovo, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Poland, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, and Ukraine. Financial aid may be given for a period of up to 4 semesters to a student participating in master's or doctoral-level studies. More information may be found on the Visegrad fund website.
NAWA
NAWA (Narodowa Agencja Wymiany Akademickiej) was established by the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education in light of the need for international cooperation in the areas of research, development, and education. Through the exchange of ideas, knowledge, experience, and discoveries, the research potential of scientists and infrastructure is enhanced. NAWA works to support such development in Polish universities and research units by facilitating international exchange. This is made possible due to the combined efforts of the government administration and other entities that aim to internationalise Polish science and higher education. A specific scholarship offer that may be of interest to our students is:
- Poland My First Choice Programme offers students the opportunity to pursue full-time second-cycle studies (master's level) at public and private institutions of higher education. The scholarship offer is addressed to foreigners and all fields of study are applicable. A complete list of eligible countries may be found on the programme's website.
