Fr. Grzegorz Chrzanowski, OP will be hosting a "Coffee Talk" to discuss the problem of evil on June 12.
The plan:
- the reading is (we are figuring out how to share it) ,, God and Evil "by Michael Peterson.
- you read it, consider the questions from this post
- come to Father's talk on June 12 and discuss your view point!
The questions for discussion are:
- Is theodycy possible at all?
- Can God create the best of all possible worlds?
- Can we really claim the existence of gratuitous evil?
- Can the existence of evil in the world be explained by a higher. overarching harmony created by God?
