dr Roman Krzanowski

Has graduate degrees in engineering, philosophy and information science from universities in Poland, UK, Canada, and the USA. He has Ph.D. degree, from UoL, London, UK and D.Phil. degree from The Pontifical University of John Paul II in Krakow (UPJPII), Poland. He is currently an assistant professor at The Pontifical University of John Paul II in Krakow. He is an expert in networking technology (holding 30+ patents and co-authored international standards), spatial information systems, information processing and philosophy of computing and information. He published books in philosophy of science (Ontological Information, World Scientific 2022), information science (Spatial Evolutionary Modeling with J. Raper, OUP, 2001), network technology (Metro Ethernet Services for LTE Backhaul 2014 (Artech House Mobile Communications Library)) and phenomenology of Tae Kwon Do (Studying with Grand Master:, 2014). Co-authored international networking standards. He also presented papers at several conferences in the USA, Canada and Europe. His interests in philosophy include the philosophy of information and informatics, ontology and metaphysics of computation science, philosophical foundations of AI, ethics and ethical problems created in information society. He published papers on robotic ethics, Evolutionary algorithm, NLP system, phronesis in autonomous robotics and Ethical testing of autonomous robots. The details of his work are at:

Roman M. Krzanowski – absolwent studiów inżynierskich, filozoficznych i informatyki na uniwersytetach w Polsce, Wielkiej Brytanii, Kanadzie i USA. Ma doktorat. Uzyskał stopień naukowy na UoL w Londynie w Wielkiej Brytanii i D.Phil. Doktorat na Uniwersytecie Papieskim Jana Pawła II w Krakowie (UPJPII). Obecnie jest adiunktem na Uniwersytecie Papieskim Jana Pawła II w Krakowie. Jest ekspertem w zakresie technologii sieciowych (posiada ponad 30 patentów i współautor międzynarodowych standardów), systemów informacji przestrzennej, przetwarzania informacji oraz filozofii informatyki i informacji. Opublikował książki z zakresu filozofii nauki (Ontological Information, World Scientific 2022), informatyki (Spatial Evolutionary Modeling with J. Raper, OUP, 2001), technologii sieciowej (Metro Ethernet Services for LTE Backhaul 2014 (Artech House Mobile Communications Library)) i fenomenologia Tae Kwon Do (Nauka u Wielkiego Mistrza:, 2014). Współautor międzynarodowych standardów sieciowych. Wygłaszał także referaty na kilku konferencjach w USA, Kanadzie i Europie. Jego zainteresowania filozoficzne obejmują filozofię informacji i informatyki, ontologię i metafizykę informatyki, filozoficzne podstawy sztucznej inteligencji, etykę i problemy etyczne powstające w społeczeństwie informacyjnym. Publikował artykuły z zakresu etyki robotycznej, algorytmu ewolucyjnego, systemu NLP, fronezy w robotyce autonomicznej oraz testowania etycznego robotów autonomicznych.
